What are my greatest strength and weeknesses?

It is shameful for me to talk about my strength and weaknesses. I come up with many weaknesses, but strength is difficult to talk by myself. However, I would like to try!

     Strength

・　I have a good patience. It is because my mother quickly become angry, so my mind become 　　tolerate to the emotion of angry. I'm not good at quarreling with someone. I love peace.

・  I have curiosity to start new things. For example, from this year, I started to join the hand bell club, bell peppers, and I started to learn Chinese. Also, it was first time for me to join the volunteer work in the last summer.

・　I have never give up attitude. I like making effort to achieve something, such as studying and the club activity.

     Weekness
・　I'm not good at expressing myself in both talking and writing , so this blogging is very challenging activity for me! Also, I' m not good at talking in front of audience. I tend to be strained and forget scripts when I give presentation in the class.
・　I'm not good at scheduling. Usually, I start doing assignment on the previous day of the due.

I want to improve weaknesses, but maybe, these points also creates my personality.

My part-time job

I have worked in Uniqlo as a part-time job for a year. The biggest reason to continue part-time job is earning money for my living expenses and saving money for the trip in the vacation. However, now I enjoy part-time job because I can learn social manner and service for the customer as the staff. For example, when I started part time job, the first thing I was taught is that "When you meet new fellow, you have to greet and say your name first." I learned that greeting is important to make relationship with other people. In Uniqlo, I can have many chances to meet and communicate with the staffs from the company and part-time staffs, mostly they are also university students. It is fun for me to make friends from other universities. Also, as a staff, I have to help customers and give advices about clothes for them, with kindness as much as possible. At first, it is difficult for me to work in the service industry, because we always have to smile and talk in the formal language. However, I can find many senior staff, who always gives nice smile and services, to be good model for me, so this job is very challenging for me. I don't decide what kind of jobs I will do, but I believe these experience will be useful in the future.

My favorite musician

I would like to write about my favorite musician. My favorite musician is Masaharu Hukuyama. He is not only a singer, but also a song writer, and actor. I like him because his lyrics is at one times sentimental, and another powerful, and finally, they are nice!I think he mostly writes two kinds of songs. First are love songs, such as "milk tea" and "桜坂" . Second are the songs about life philosophy, such as "心　color" and "道標". When I feel tired, I listen to these two songs, and they cheers me up. His song are often used in the TV commercials.  I have been to his concert twice, and they are so cool! Many kinds of instruments are used in his concert, such as guitar, violin, trumpet, trombone, drums, and they are played in the different arrange from CD.  I wanna go again!!

What is the most precious thing in my life?

The most precious thing in my life is the relationship with people, I have been created by now. In September, on my birthday, many friends gave me comments　on facebook  and e-mail to celebrate　my 20th birthday. It was a gratifying experience for me to feel the relationship  with other people. Of course, the most closest relationship is my family, and their support is important for me to live a life. After entering ICU, I have met many people in various community, such as section BI, Bell peppers, SEA pro members, etc.  Now, when I look back on my life, many important person and memory with them come up to my mind. These people brighten my life.

My pet

    I would like to write about my sweet dog! His name is Lance, named by my brother. He is a kind of Welsh corgi, so he has short legs, big ear, and long torsoed.
    He gives positive effect on me, and my family. When I'm sitting in the living room and watching TV, he comes close to me, and if I touch him, he looks so happy. Skin ship with him refreshes me. Also, my father is the best lover of my dog in my family. My father walks with my dog twice in a day. When he takes care of my dog, he looks so happy. Lance keeps my father's health. Surprisingly, he also can stop quarrel between my mother and father. When my father and mother start quarrel, he goes to the place, the middle of my mother and father, and he becomes very anxious face. Also, sometimes he comes to my room to ask me to stop their quarrel. I think he is intelligent as much as three years old child!! He is a member of my family as a second son, and essential for us to keep my family's tie.  

Who am I? How would I answer this question?

My name is Mio Uemura. I was born in 1991, and now I'm 20 years old. Now, I live in Saitama with my family. My hobby is watching foreign TV drama, listening to the music, and traveling. My favorite foreign TV drama are Gray's anatomy and Gossip girl. I often watch these drama on the weekend. My favorite musicians are Masaharu Hukuyama and Aiko. It takes two hours to get ICU, so I listen to these music every morning. Music gives me power to survive in the crowded Yamanote line in the morning! Also, I have traveled France, Holland, England, and Australia. Travel is essential for my life, because experience of the travel motivated me to study English hard, and leads me to enter ICU. In ICU, I'm thinking about choosing sociology as a major. It was interesting for me to view society as a structure.

My memory of the trip.

I would like to write about my memory of the trip to Cairns in last summer vacation. I went to Cairns in Australia for two weeks, and did conservation volunteer work. As the volunteer work, I did weeding and planting trees with the members from various countries. This experience was awesome! I enjoyed dynamic nature, and the life with other members was fun. I enjoyed talking with people from other country, and also we cooked every dinner together! This experience changed my view of the volunteer work. It gave me the chance to meet foreign people, and making friendship with them, Also, volunteer work gave me the chance to communicate with local people. It was more exciting than sightseeing! I want to go other country to do such great experience again.
